Care Communications, Inc. Appoints Patricia Thierry Sheridan President

CHICAGO, June 7, 2004 -- Care Communications, Inc. (CARE), a leading health information management (HIM) consulting company, today announced the appointment of Patricia Thierry Sheridan as president; she succeeds Leslie Ann Fox, who will continue as chief executive officer.

“The Board has planned carefully for this change,” said Fox, CEO, co-founder and member of the CARE board of directors. “Ms. Sheridan’s talent and experience has benefited CARE for several years already; she possesses the strategic, operational, and industry experience needed to continue CARE’s strong record of industry leadership.”

Ms. Sheridan has served CARE as vice president of operations and CIO since 2002.In her new role as President, Sheridan oversees all of CARE’s operations. As CEO, Fox will focus her efforts on corporate level strategic planning and new product development.

“I am honored to be appointed President and continue the tradition of excellence in executive leadership at CARE,” said Sheridan. “Having worked with Leslie for a number of years, I share her commitment to customer service, integrity and strong results. I will continue working with the board of directors and executive management team to execute our growth plan, expand CARE’s competitive advantages and deliver increased value to our customers.”

Sheridan joined CARE in January of 1999 as manager of information services. Prior to CARE, she served as the Vice President of Professional Development at the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) where she was responsible for managing several product lines. She also served as Director of Health Information Management for a large teaching hospital in New York where she was involved in numerous information systems projects. She is a graduate of Kean College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management and a master’s in business administration from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
